Weekly Newsletter #41 | April 13, 2020

The Band Boosters Newsletter will be published every other week during the extended closure of Milford Schools. Important updates and more timely information will continue to be sent as appropriate via email, Facebook, and Remind text messages. We hope all of our Booster families are staying safe and healthy, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Marching Band Email Contact List

Dr. Dailey has created a mailing list for information about the 2020 Marching Band season. This list is for all students, parents, relatives, and friends who want to receive information about the season as it becomes available. Use this link to sign up, and feel free to pass the link along to anyone else interested.
Officer/Committee Chair Nominations
The Nominating Committee continues to seek people to step up into Officer and Committee Chair roles within Band Boosters. This is a great opportunity to get more involved with the Boosters and the many ways they support the band programs of Milford Schools! Currently open positions include VP Drumline, Treasurer, Secretary, Hospitality Chair, Membership Chair, Photography Chair, Marching Uniforms Chair, Senior Parent Committee, Dine to Donate Chair, Discount Card Chair, Fall Fundraiser Chair, Spiritwear Fliers Chair, and Spiritwear Store Chair.

If you are interested in volunteering for a position, or would like to nominate someone for a position, please contact a member of the Nominating Committee (Jody Morgan, Julie Ford, and Jennifer Horning).

Jun 1-3 9am-4pm: 2020 Mini Camp (all forms and fees due)

April Band Boosters Meeting Canceled
Due to the ongoing closure of Milford Schools, the regularly scheduled Band Boosters meeting on April 28 has been canceled.

2020 Marching Band Schedule

The band directors have published the 2020 Marching Band calendar and the 2020 Saturday schedule. The calendar includes some changes from prior years that should allow families more freedom during the summer months and create a better weekly routine during the season. Please feel free to share this schedule with anyone who may be interested, especially prospective new members!

Summer Symposium Canceled

UPDATED 4/13/2020 8:45am:
Music for All and Ball State University have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Summer Symposium to further mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Music for All was originally scheduled for June 20 – 27, 2020 at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.

June 22-27 on the campus of Ball State University.

Booster Odds and Ends

2019/20 Meeting Schedule

Band Boosters meetings for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm in the Milford High School Band Room. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for 5/26 and 6/23.
