Congratulations to Winter Drumline on their dual championships in Scholastic A Percussion this weekend! Milford scored 79.300 at MEPA Bellbrook and 81.050 at MEPA Kettering!

Winter Show Update (Saturday March 7)

Signups for the March 7 Winter Show are now available for Adult Volunteers and Donations! This is our Band program's biggest fundraiser of the year, and its success depends on volunteer help and donations. We ask that each Band/Guard/Drumline family sign up at least one adult volunteer for at least one shift. (You are welcome to sign up for more.)

The next meeting of the Milford Band Boosters will be held on Tue Feb 25 starting at 7pm in the MHS Band Room. We welcome all attendees--come find out how you can get involved! Contact Jason Long ([email protected]) with questions.

Junior High Band Concert - Feb 27

Join the 7th and 8th Grade Bands for their Spring Concert on Thu Feb 27 in the MHS Gymnasium! The concert starts at 7pm. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
Concert Uniform Fitting
The next MHS Band Concert is coming up on Tue Mar 10. Our Concert Uniforms team has two weeks to prepare the uniforms for the Concert and Symphonic Bands, and we need your help! Jennifer Horning is looking for a second adult join her during 6th and 7th class periods (12:15-2:15pm) for fitting the uniforms. No sewing required--just helping hands.

2020 Milford Bands Discount Cards

Do you have your 2020 Milford Bands Discount Card yet? If not, you're missing out! Cards are $10 each and reusable all year long, and offer fantastic deals around the community! Purchase cards from any MHS Band student or from the MHS School Store

Students--please continue taking orders and collecting money. Orders can be turned in to the Band Room or to Mrs. Grilliot at the high school. Contact Mrs. Grilliot ([email protected]) with questions or for more information.

School Store Volunteers

Sell snacks and spirit wear in the School Store before and after school. This is a fun way to help the Band Boosters out and get to know the kids at MHS. Rhonda Friedland and Jody Morgan will train you and work with you until you are comfortable on your own.

2020 Marching Band Schedule

The band directors have published the 2020 Marching Band calendar. and the 2020 Saturday schedule. The calendar includes some changes from prior years that should allow families more freedom during the summer months and create a better weekly routine during the season. Please feel free to share this schedule with anyone who may be interested, especially prospective new members!

Registration Opens for Summer Symposium

Registration is open for the 2020 Music for All Summer Symposium, taking place from
June 22-27 on the campus of Ball State University. Register by March 31 to receive Early Bird pricing. Fees includes tuition, housing, meals, tickets to all evening concerts, a t-shirt, and a group photo.

Milford Athletics Flight Night - Mar 5

Milford Athletics' 10th Annual Flight Night will take place on Thursday Mar 5 at the Oasis Golf and Conference Center. This year's event will feature an evening with Marty Brennaman, as well as silent and live auctions and a basket raffle. This event is expected to sell out, and all ticket orders are due by Mar 1. 2019/20 Meeting Schedule

Band Boosters meetings for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm in the Milford High School Band Room. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for 2/25, 3/24, 4/28, 5/26, and 6/23.
