This Week in Milford Bands

|
|
The third and final week of Band Camp wrapped up successfully last Thursday. Many thanks to our parent volunteers who assisted with check-in, screening, and chaperone duties throughout camp, including: Chelsea Almer, Sarah Bish, Alison Brice, Meg Burns, Diane Campman, Leah Clark, Jennifer Delaney, Eric Dool, Karin Feldkamp, Alexandria Fischer, Julianne Ford, Amanda Fultz, Sara Grammel, Leta Hackler, Nathan Hackler, Lisa Haghverdi, Jennifer Hamm, Jacquline Hartman, Blaise Hoopes, Jennifer Horning, Robin Lee, Susan Lieving, Carley Metsker, Jody Morgan, Della Morris, Pam Peebles, Jennifer Ring, Cort Sattler, Juli Schultz, and Joanne Smith.

Credits and refunds for decreased band fees will be administered this week. Please expect updated statements by next weekend, and refund checks next week.

2021 Disney Trip Canceled
|
As noted by Dr. Dailey and Mr. Yeager in last week's announcements, the Marching Band's trip to Disney scheduled for January 2021 has been canceled due to continued concerns about safety and travel.
|
All monies paid toward travel should be refunded, less a $50 per-person nonrefundable deposit. Music Travel has informed us that they began the process of trip cancellation and refunds last Friday 8/7. Online refunds will take 4-14 business days (depending on the banking institution) and mailed checks will take approximately 21 days. Emails should be going out early this coming week to all travelers.

Regular Booster Meetings
|
Milford Band Boosters meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. When possible, Band Boosters meetings are held at Milford High School. When necessary, they will be scheduled as virtual meetings, with login information provided prior to the meeting.
