And that's a wrap! Band Camp 2019 is in the books and we are cruising straight ahead into marching season. Rehearsal this week is from 9am-4pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. For the most current schedule, click here to check the Band calendar.

We are entering the second week of our online fundraiser with Ready Set Fund! This is an opportunity for Band supporters outside of the Milford area to go online and provide ongoing support with a small monthly donation ($10/month for 3, 6, or 12 months).
|
|
Remember that each Marching Band member has a goal of signing up 3 supporters. Please pass along our website (www.readysetfund.us/MilfordMarchingBand) to family, friends, and supporters outside the Milford area. The fundraiser runs through August 12--please email Jason Long with questions ([email protected]).

The bus will leave the band parking lot on Saturday 8/10 at 2pm. Anyone who is not a current band member needs to bring a completed Emergency Medical Form. As in past years, the bus will make a quick dinner stop at the Post Road McDonald's before arriving at the stadium. The bus will return to the High School around 2am.
|

We are still looking for senior parent hosts for the October 4 band party! Hosts provide the main course and then ask for specific donations for the evening. If you are available to host, please contact Julie Ford ([email protected]) to let her know how many chaperones you will need and what donations you are requesting. Julie will manage the sign-up for donations.
|

|

Color Guard members, please make note of the following:
|
- All orders for makeup, gloves, and shoes should be turned in to Drew or Julie no later than Monday 8/5.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Band Boosters meetings for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm in the Milford High School Band Room. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
|
|
Upcoming meetings are scheduled for August 27, September 24, October 22, November 26, January 28, February 25, March 24, April 28, May 26, and June 23.
|
|
|
|
It isn’t too late to join the Milford Band Boosters! Membership is only $10 per family and comes with a photo button of your favorite band member(s).
|

Lifetouch Photography will be at the High School for Picture Days on Thursday 8/8 and Friday 8/9. They are looking for parents to assist with the photo sessions. Volunteers will received significant discounts on student photo prices. If you are interested, please contact Vickie Parker at MHS ([email protected] or 513-576-2213).
