Registration Deadline for 2021 Walt Disney World Trip

The registration deadline for the 2021 Walt Disney World trip is coming up this week on Tuesday Jan 14!
Visit to get registered. You'll also find the information packet, and a video recording of the Kickoff Meeting.
Please note that this trip is for all members of the 2020 Milford Marching Band, including incoming freshmen. Please help pass this information along to families of incoming freshmen and other prospective members.
We are still looking for Disney trip chaperones. Please email [email protected] or contact Dr. Dailey if you are interested.

Band Boosters Scholarship

The Band Boosters will once again be awarding a $500 nonrenewable scholarship to a graduating senior who has been active in Band (or Guard) for at least three years, and who is planning to attend a four-year institution to further his/her education in music performance, arts (dance), or music education. The Local Scholarships Packet was released the week of 12/9, with applications due Fri 1/24. Please contact Mr. Rose (Room C26; [email protected]) or Ms. Sears (Room C27; [email protected]) with questions.

Registration Opens for Summer Symposium

Registration is open for the 2020 Music for All Summer Symposium, taking place from
June 22-27 on the campus of Ball State University. Register by January 31 to receive the best price of the year. Fees includes tuition, housing, meals, tickets to all evening concerts, a t-shirt, and a group photo.

2020 Marching Band Calendar

The band directors have published the 2020 Marching Band calendar. The schedule includes some changes from prior years that should allow families more freedom during the summer months and create a better weekly routine during the season. Competition dates have not been released yet but will be provided when available. Please feel free to share this schedule with anyone who may be interested, especially prospective new members!

Thanks to everyone who took part in the 2019 Fall Fundraiser as a seller, a buyer, or a pickup volunteer. Did you forget to order, or wish you had ordered more? Spring Mattress Sale - Feb 15

The Milford Bands Mattress Fundraiser is coming soon! There will be 25 different styles of beds on display for customers to try. The beds are new, brand name, made to order, available in all sizes, and cost less than retail stores. In addition to beds, there will also be luxury pillows, sheets and even adjustable power bases! 2020 Winter Show - Mar 7

Plans are underway for the 2020 Milford Winter Show on Sat Mar 7. Winter Guard and Drumline ensembles from around the tri-state area will be visiting Milford High School to compete in the event. We are currently seeking food donations (candy, snacks, drinks, etc.) for the event--if you are connected with a company that may be able to help, please contact [email protected] to get in touch.

Booster Odds and Ends

2019/20 Meeting Schedule

Band Boosters meetings for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm in the Milford High School Band Room. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for 1/28, 2/25, 3/24, 4/28, 5/26, and 6/23.

School Store Volunteers

Sell snacks and spirit wear in the School Store before and after school. Rhonda Friedland and Jody Morgan will train you and work with you until you are comfortable on your own.
