Volunteers Needed!!!

New marchers report this week, and the full Marching Band will be in camp next week. The season is right around the corner, and Band Boosters need your help! Please look through the volunteer opportunities listed below and use the SignupGenius links to let us know where you can assist.

Parent Volunteers for New Marcher Week

July 15-19
Want to see what your new band marcher is doing for the next three weeks? Interested in what a parent chaperone does for band camp? Volunteer for a short shift during New Marcher Week and find out!

Help us provide lunches for our directors and clinicians during the final week of Band Camp.

Assist marchers during camp and breaks, and help with lunches.

Help with dinner setup, serving, and cleanup for the Band and Guard during the 12 hour camp days.

Uniform Fitting

July 23-31
No sewing required! Help band members to on uniforms, shoes, hats, etc. to make sure of fit, and record size and/or number by marchers name.

StreetEats Miami

Aug 3-4
Help the Boosters staff volunteer shifts at this food truck and music festival, featuring a performance by the Marching Band! Band Boosters will receive a $1500 donation in appreciation for our volunteer work.

Spirit Wear

Spirit Wear orders are due this week! Click here to download the flier. Orders and money are due back to the Band office no later than Friday 7/19, and orders will be ready for pickup at Parents Show on 8/1.

No late orders will be accepted--make sure you get your order in by the 7/19 deadline.

Dine to Donate

Chipotle - 7/23

Tired of cooking this summer? Make plans now to come out to Milford's Chipotle (5697 Romar Dr) on Tuesday 7/23 from 4-8pm and support your Milford Band at our first Dine to Donate of the 2019-2020 season! Show the flier (download here; show printout or mobile version) and the Band Boosters will receive 33% of all proceeds during the time allotted.

Shooters - 8/12

With the start of school quickly approaching, there is no better way to celebrate the end of a great summer than a night out at Shooters Sports Grill in Loveland (780 Loveland-Miamiville Rd)! On Monday 8/12, stop by Shooters anytime for lunch and/or dinner. Show the flier (download here; show printout or mobile upload) and the Band Boosters will receive 10% of your total bill. We hope to see you there!

Food Allergy / Vegetarian Information - Updates Needed

If your child has food allergies or any special dietary needs, please fill out the Food Allergy and Vegetarian Form and send it to Alison Brice at [email protected] immediately.

Even if you have filled this out in prior years, please send it again so we can ensure our information is up to date. This helps us make sure all students eat safely while at Band Camp and during the marching season.

Senior Corner

Attention Seniors:
  • On Monday 7/22, please plan for a quick meeting immediately after band camp in the cafeteria. You will be providing input to the Boosters on Senior Night activities.
  • Also, make sure to accept the invitation to the Senior page on Facebook, and make sure you are receiving notifications from the page. As planning evolves for your senior activities, we will be using this page to quickly get information and your thoughts. We are looking forward to a great year!
Attention Senior Parents:
  • On Monday 7/29, please plan for a meeting at 7pm. We need to review activities for Senior Night on 7/31 (we will need chaperones), We also need to discuss Senior Night at the stadium, the senior trip, senior parties, banners and more.
  • Please sign up for Senior Night donations at
Also, we need to find senior parent hosts for this season's band parties. Hosts provide the main course and then ask for specific donations for the evening. Please check your calendar for the dates that still need hosts (Aug 30, Sep 13, and Oct 4). If you are available to host one of the dates, please contact Julie Ford ([email protected]) to let her know how many chaperones you will need and what donations you are requesting. Julie will manage the sign-up for donations.

2019 - 2020 Booster Meeting Schedule

Mark your calendars! Band Boosters meetings for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for July and December). All meetings start at 7pm in the Milford High School Band Room. Attendance is open to anyone, and everyone is invited and encouraged to attend!

Upcoming meetings are scheduled for August 27, September 24, October 22, November 26, January 28, February 25, March 24, April 28, May 26, and June 23.
